We are thrilled to invite you to join us at this years Annual #BlackWallStreet314 Festival, held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024. As the only festival of its kind, the #BlackWallStreet314 celebrates and empowers St. Louis’s vibrant African American community by:
- Honoring the legacy:Â We pay tribute to the historical significance and power of Black Wall Street and the work of our ancestors that contributed to its success.
- Championing cultural heritage:Â We showcase the richness of African and African American traditions through art, performances, and storytelling.
- Uniting our diverse community:Â We foster inclusivity and understanding through shared experiences and connections.
- Empowering residents:Â We connect attendees with vital resources and services to support their well-being and success.
- Generational wealth building:Â We provide community development support through homeownership, business development, estate planning and asset management.
The Annual #BlackWallStreet314 Festival brings together over 5,000 attendees to enjoy a day filled with cultural experiences and LIVE entertainment. This year national recording artists Roscoe Dash and Travis Porter will be our special guests. This year, we bring new amenities for you and your family:

Young Voices with Action (YVWA) is a youth-led organization that empowers and challenges our peers to lead and take on leadership roles within their homes, communities, places of worship, schools and places of employment.
HISTORY OF #BLACKWALLSTREET
In late May 1921, the thriving African American community of Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, suffered one of the deadliest racial massacres in U.S. history. It was one in a series of actions of racist violence that convulsed the United States in towns and cities beginning with the period of Reconstruction in the late 19th century. In Tulsa, as in all of these massacres, white mobs destroyed Black communities, property, and lives. A century after the massacre, the people of Tulsa and the nation continue to struggle to reckon with its multiple legacies.
